Thank you!

I have to say that one month in on this blogging journey (that really sounds like I’m on the X Factor) of creating and launching my blog has been amazing. I’m surprised how I’ve managed to find time to write anything but I can use WordPress on my phone which is handy! Also, writing this N is in a sling on my chest and is asleep which is handy! I’ve learned so much, including:

• How to set up and buy a domain name
• What’s hosting company is and how to pick one (I’ve used Siteground)
• What platform to use to write the blog (WordPress unsurprisingly!)
• Graphic design
• Branding
• Developed my writing skills
• Content creation

…and much more besides.

But what I have really enjoyed and liked is the engagement and interest I’ve received from those around me. Friends simply asking how it’s going. Or others asking about future plans. Plus more saying I’ll never get chance to do it once I’ve got a baby (yes that’s true to an extent but it’s amazing what you can find time to do!).

My wife of course must get a mention too as she has been very helpful with the blog. From ideas on content, photo suggestions and discussions on my ideas. She’s been giving me great support. Plus of course, she has put up with me spending time writing this and talking about it!

So I thought I should take a moment to say a big thank you to everyone around me that has been so supportive. It’s been an amazing help in maintaining my motivation and interest.
